Here at RSI our engineering team strives to be on the cutting edge with designs to meet the needs of our customers. When the Mosin Nagant rifles came to the U.S., it created a new challenge for shooting enthusiasts. One big problem is the split tail receiver. This made it difficult to fit a scope to such an action. To us this made the rifle more interesting. Within a year we had designed, mounted, and tested a new scope mount for these rifles. We decided to share our idea with others, and Rock Solid was born.
